The main reason I moved away was to take a break from everything and become happy once again. I quit my job I had been working at for three years, dropped all of my classes, and decided to go live with Staci out here in Virginia. It definitely was a hard and brave step to get up and move out of my comfort zone, but I think it was one of the best changes I could have ever made for myself. en of course, my favorite part... playing basketball once again! :) Today, I turn 21, and out here that is considered REALLY young. I don't feel young or old, I've always been really mature for my age. I sometimes feel like my ward is a hierarchy system and I am at the very bottom of it. Everyone is older, well educated and have already started their careers. Then you look at me, I'm almost done with my associates, and still trying to figure out what I want to be. Ever since I can remember, up until a few months ago, all I ever dreamed of being was a Police Officer. Now, I have finally realized that the society has changed and they dont respect cops as well as they should. Putting my life in danger ever single day wouldn't be fair to my family. So when I figure out what I want to be when I grow up, I'll let you know.
Here are some fun pictures to help sum up my first few months out here. I have been able to go to New York a few times, and had a couple friends come visit me, it was great to see them. :)
